- Mike Huckabee, a non-trivial Republican presidential candidate, muses about forcing nonviolent criminals into indentured service. Yes, it’s a REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT OPENLY TALKING ABOUT THE MERITS OF SLAVERY IN 2015!
- The math still says that Paul Ryan cannot be House Speaker without the support of the Freedom Caucus, but his camp is testing the waters anyway.
- Foiled in their ongoing attempts to gain traction in various campaigns to impeach President Obama, it appears Republicans will not be caught flat-footed this time around. Here’s a Republican in the House already saying that Hillary Clinton ought to be impeached. Because when you’ve only managed to impeach 1 out of the last 2 Democratic presidents, that’s just a 50% success rate. You must be doing it wrong!
